Limit stay of Russians in Ukraine
From 7 April 2014 entered into force a time limit of stay of citizens of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine. These changes will affect, primarily in mixed Russian-Ukrainian families, and Russians operating in Ukrainian enterprises.
As representatives of the state border service, such measures are the answer of Ukraine working in Russia since 1 January 2014, a similar presence restrictions for Ukrainian citizens.
Earlier, Russian citizens can stay in Ukraine on migration card during 3 months without interruption. Upon entry into the country, they receive a migration card with a validity of three months. At the end of this period, the citizen had to go back to the border and get a new card with the same expiration date. But now the Russians will have to limit the length of their stay in Ukraine 90 days in half a year.
That is, in total, the citizen of the Russian Federation may stay in Ukraine for three months out of six, after which he will have to return to Russia and live the same period of time at home. To return to Russia after 90 days of stay need not be for those who have decorated the residence permit in Ukraine or entered into a formal employment contract with the Ukrainian company.
