The winter resort of Baqueira-Beret opens new routes

The popular ski resort of Baqueira-Beret (Spain, Catalonia), celebrates this year its 50th ski season.

For the anniversary of the resort prepared for its guests a number of interesting features that will definitely appeal to experienced skiers and beginners.

Baqueira-Beret season 2014-2015 will open for 30 November, and to this day, as representatives of the resort will be fully completed all work on updating and improving the ski areas.

In the biggest resort in the Pyrenees this year, will open 21 new ski run, making the total length of ski slopes in Baqueira Beret will increase from 120 kilometers to 146.

In 2015, tourists at the resort waiting for 41 blue trail (there were 36), 37 red (29 pieces), 15 black (was 7) and 6 green slopes. Guests of this Spanish winter resort will appreciate the increase in the number of lifts (from 32 to 35), after which the throughput function has grown to almost 61 thousand people per hour. For off-piste will be prepared new 7-kilometrowy descent.
