Entrance fees to Peterhof expensive

From 23 April 2016 entrance tickets to the Museum-reserve «Peterhof» rise. Now, to visit the sanctuary on field trips, visitors from Russia will have to pay 450 rubles, not 300, as now, foreign tourists — 700 roubles instead of 500. The price increase will occur after the opening of the fountains of the Lower Park.

Benefits and special rates will apply, as before, children under 16 years can visit the Museum free of charge.

As reported in the press service of the Museum complex, a forced increase in prices due to the economic situation and the high costs of maintaining a huge reserve. For this reason, already in the near future is expected to increase in entrance fees in almost all St. Petersburg museums, their value will increase by approximately 20-30%. In addition to museums for 2016 was also raised prices and hotels of St. Petersburg — accommodation in St. Petersburg hotels became more expensive by 30-40%.
