A trip on a retro train on Constitution Day

Residents and guests of Kiev on the Constitution Day of Ukraine is waiting for a surprise from Ukrzaliznytsia — a tour of the capital on a retro train.

The trip will begin June 28, 2017 at 13:49 at the Central Railway Station in Kiev and will last two and a half hours. Passengers of the old train will also be able to visit the exhibition of historic trains free of charge, which takes place on the 14th route of the Kiev-Passazhirsky station (the first platform), presenting their ticket at the entrance.

Participants of the excursion by train are waiting for the retro-locomotive Er 787-46, created at the very beginning of the last century, and comfortable carriages that will allow you to enjoy the trip with maximum convenience. The route of the excursion runs along the Kiev-Passenger ring — Kiev-Volynsky — Kiev-Petrovka — Darnitsa — Kiev-Demeevsky — Kiev-Passenger. Passengers will be able to see the Kiev sights associated with the history of the creation and development of the capital's railway infrastructure, learn many interesting facts about it.

In addition, small children will enjoy a separate entertainment: in Syretsky Park, kids will be able to ride on a special attraction — the children's railway, which will work on this day from 11:00 to 15:20. A narrow-gauge locomotive of the model Gy 336 will run here.
