In Almaty there are tours on Segways

The residents and guests of Almaty has become available for a new tourism entertainment — city tours on a Segway tour.

It tells Artem Filippov, the organizer of the project, the Segway tour will pass through all the main sights of Almaty. The program includes a visit to the “Arbat”, Palace of President, Republic square, Independence monument, the Palace of the Republic, circus, Central stadium, Astana square, the Park named after 28 Panfilov guardsmen and hotels «Ukraine». Duration of the tour on the Segway will be about 3 hours.

For security purposes, the route is designed so that a group of tourists moved only on the bike path — only a small part of the path will have to pass on the road or the sidewalk. Also each member of the group prior to the event will receive a set of protective gear and pass a short training course, riding a Segway. During the whole tour group will be accompanied by a licensed professional guide.

All of the Segways that are available to tourists, original, high quality, so they are convenient and completely safe to control.

The first tour on a Segway tour took place in Almaty on 19 April 2016, it was attended by six people. In the future, the organizers plan to introduce a new format of city tours in Astana, capital of Kazakhstan.
