Clarification of the rules of entry to Ukraine for Russians
The Ministry of transport, which had earlier announced a ban of entrance to Ukraine citizens of the Russian Federation of a male, explained the validity of this prohibition, and also specified the circle of persons which these prohibitions will not apply.
Telegrams with the corresponding clarifications to the new rules of entry into the country was directed by the Ukrainian state aviation service to all airlines.
Who will not affect the restrictions on entry to Ukraine:
Russian citizens, travelling with family and children, as well as the drivers and maintenance personnel of vehicles engaged in international freight transport, crews of ships and aircraft, participants of international forums, citizens arrived by invitation of state organizations, and also citizens of Russia, having the status of foreign Ukrainians.
Also, entry to Ukraine will be allowed to citizens of the Russian Federation, which operate on the territory of Ukraine if they have the relevant supporting documents, as well as those who have a permit for temporary or permanent residence in Ukraine.
The free entry is permitted to citizens of Russia, who presented an invitation from individuals or legal entities, or a document confirming the serious illness or death of someone close to them by relatives living on the territory of Ukraine.
We will remind, on Thursday, 17 April 2014, the state border service of Ukraine announced a ban of entrance to Ukraine for men, Russian citizens male, aged 16-60 years, on all types of vehicles. The decision on ban on entry, representatives of the border service of Ukraine will be taken directly to the border after carrying out the appropriate checks.
