New taxis in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates and of the eponymous state, may soon replenish the city's new taxi cab company running in “green” diesel fuel.

As reported in Department of transport of Abu Dhabi, a new fleet of city taxi service will include 270 new environmentally friendly car series Mercedes Vito Compact.

Now these cars are at the testing stage, during which information will be collected about the technical and operational characteristics of cars of this brand, as well as reviews of locals and foreign tourists about new cars. If the results of the test period, all indicators will be at a decent level, these machines will become the new taxis in Abu Dhabi on a permanent basis.

Each car of the new taxi Abu Dhabi will be equipped with intercom for communication between passengers and driver.

Some time ago the car models Mercedes Vito Compact has already been put into operation as a taxi-cars at airports in Abu Dhabi, so there is every reason to assume that these machines successfully pass the test period operation and as the official taxi of the capital.
