A new exhibition at Palazzo Madama
In the Palace complex, Palazzo Madama (Turin, Italy), has opened a new exhibition, it will be interesting to lovers of fine works of jewelry art, religious relics and fragile knick-knacks, Murano glass.
In the Camera del Vetro, “the Glass hall” Palazzo Madama, presents a display of over 300 unique objects of antiquity — the medieval gold jewelry, bronze ware of the Renaissance, enamels, blown glass and carved ivory.
Many of the Antiques displayed at the exhibition were communicated Camera del Vetro from other museums and private collections. A large part of the exhibits in this Italian Museum was created in the period from the 13th to the 18th century and thus has great historical and cultural value.
As noted by Guido Curto, the new Director of the Museum of ancient art, the exposition can be called one of the most beautiful in Europe — the awesome creations of the masters of past centuries are of very fine work and unique design. In addition, according to the Museum information, the collection of Camera del Vetro will continue to grow with new exhibits that will make her richer, more diverse and more interesting for tourists from all over the world.
Fair schedule Camera del Vetro:
- Monday: 10:00 to 18:00
- Wednesday-Friday: 10:00 to 18:00
- Saturday: 11:00 to 19:00
- Sunday: 10:00 to 19:00
On Tuesday the exposition does not work, tours of the Museum are conducted. Please note that the ticket office closes one hour before!
