In the Swiss town of Corsier-sur-Vevey was opened the Museum of Charlie Chaplin. The Museum complex occupies an area of about 3000 square meters, it includes a mansion, which over the last 25 years of his life he lived with his family, Charlie Chaplin, and the building for the exposition, which was built specially for the Museum's opening.

The Museum of Charlie Chaplin in Switzerland, according to the authorities of the Museum will be of interest to admirers of the legendary actor — there are a lot of personal belongings of the actor, unique photographs and realistic wax figures and props from the filming, including his cane and bowler hat. Also, guests will be told during the tours interesting details about the filming “gold rush”, “Kid”, “the Great dictator" and other films in which Charlie Chaplin starred or directed.

Museum visitors will be able to visit different rooms of the house, including the bedroom of the actor — just in this room on Christmas eve 1977, Charlie Chaplin died at age 88.

The organizers of the memorial Museum is expected that the new attraction in Switzerland is popular among tourists from different countries, and every year the Museum of the actor will take not less than 300 thousand visitors.
