Ethnographic Museum in the Czech Republic offers unusual to visit a thematic exhibition dedicated to the traditions of Christmas celebration at Moravian.

In the period from 29 November to 4 December 2014, the Museum in strážnice will recreate the traditions and customs of celebrating Christmas in the villages Moravians of the late nineteenth century, so that the travelers, who have tour to the Czech Republic fall for the duration of this exhibition will be able to dive into the wonderful atmosphere of old Christmas holiday in late November.

The ancient Moravian customs and traditions of the celebration of Christmas involve long cooking for holidays – preparing for Christmas could take up to a month and included a variety of aspects.

During the tour around the Museum  Moravians tourists can see the traditional decoration of the Moravian homes for Christmas and specially embroidered national costumes, learn about the features of preparation of special holiday meals, will be able to assist in the reconstruction of ancient rituals and customs.

In the Czech Moravians Museum you can also visit the well-preserved houses, to see the exhibition logopedicheskie management, technical buildings and ancient Moravian distilleries, which includes existing vineyards, wine cellars and presses system.

The Moravians Museum in strážnice works all the days except Monday.

Museum hours: 9:00 — 16:00. To buy a ticket for the tour is available for 80 CZK – adult 40 – children (6-15 years).
