Mexico: the Festival of chocolate 2014
Fifth international chocolate Festival will be held from 26 to 30 November 2014 in Mexico, Villa HERMOSA-city is the capital of the state of Tabasco.
The venue of the festival is symbolic – this state is considered the birthplace of cacao, from which this delicacy and began its triumphant way around the world.
5th international chocolate festival Del Edén para el Mundo ("From Eden to the world") promises to bring its guests the most interesting and delicious program.
Exhibitions of all kinds of chocolate products from different manufacturers, historical exhibition and lecture programmes on cocoa beans and the chocolate recipe, a few concerts, master classes, tastings of chocolate desserts, alcoholic and soft drinks – all this abundance will allow to find interesting for each guest of the Festival, regardless of age.
Under Del Edén para el Mundo 2014 also will be competitions between pastry, followed by a tasting created during a contest of chocolate masterpieces. In addition, during the Festival everyone will be able to go on an excursion to the ancient cacao plantations of Tabasco.
The international chocolate festival in Tabasco is annually visited by about 60,000 visitors from around the world. In addition to chocolate in this gastronomic festival visitors will also enjoy local attractions like Villa HERMOSA, which traces its history back to the mid sixteenth century.
Popular routes in Villa HERMOSA normally cover the local Museum of La Venta Park, zoo “Yumka” in which the animals live in their natural environment and not restricted in movement on the territory of the Park, the Tabasco history Museum and the old Cathedral.
