«Comet» Batumi — Sochi will be back in 2016
High-speed passenger ship «Kometa» in 2016, again, connecting Russia and Georgia — a sea route between Sochi and Tbilisi will be resumed on April 29.
Regular shipping flights Sochi-Batumi-Sochi will be implemented by Georgian company «Express-Batumi”. The schedule of the speed ferry from Russia to Georgia yet provides for morning flights once a week — on Thursdays from Batumi, and on Fridays — from Sochi. In the future, if the demand for this type of transport is high, it is possible to increase the frequency of flights, first to two times a week, and then to three in each direction.

The duration of the route between Batumi and Sochi, weather permitting is about five hours, the capacity of the passenger «Comet» — 114 people.
