Kazakhstan will create bus routes to national parks

Kazakhstan

The Department of tourism of Almaty has received from the Kazakhstan tourist Association (KTA) proposal to establish new bus routes between the national parks of the southern capital of the country.

It is expected that this project will be approved and implemented soon, because this special bus route will be very convenient for eco-tourists in Kazakhstan. As explained in the Department of tourism of Almaty, now for such travelers, there is no bus service — affordable public transport could not provide a comfortable travel to all national parks, so tourists have to rent cars or use taxi service.

New bus for tourists in Almaty will run  between all of the protected parks on the schedule, the fare will be announced later by the owners of transport — now the municipal authorities choose the carrier that will continue to serve the route. It is expected that travel to natural areas, located near the city, will cost about 70 m in both directions, it is also planned to introduce the new route system Onay.
