To ski in Europe? For free!

It is known practice, when at the beginning of the ski season, major producers of winter equipment are offered free of charge to test new products for tourists – skiers and snowboarders.

Edition The Telegraph has provided a list of places where vacationers will be able available for free or for a symbolic amount to test a new model snowboards and gear for skiing from world famous brands.

Where you can test for free:

November (until the end of the month): SaaS Fee, Switzerland

November 23-24: Ski Force Winter Tour, Val thoren, France

November 30-December 1, December 7-8 and December 14-15: Rock on Snowboard Tour, Val thoren, France (free testing about 30 different models of snowboards)

6-8 Dec: Country meets Snow, St Anton and Arlberg, Austria (free testing of about 20 brands)

December 7-8: Le Grand Bornand, Haute Savoie, France

December 14-15: Serre Chevalier, Southern Alps, France

December 14-15: STS Testtage, Flumserberg, Switzerland (skis and snowboards)

21 December Young Boarder Day, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria (free testing equipment for children – from 6 to 14 years, including free testing of children's shoes and Burgundy from the brand Burton)

22 Dec Ski and Board Camp, Tains, France (free testing of ski equipment and snowboards)

27 Dec the Démo Tour, Samros, France (free testing snowboards and ski equipment from Rossignol brand)
