Four valleys lost Verbier
Verbier, one of the most famous and popular ski resorts of the Swiss Alps, came from the Four valleys. Starting in 2014, fans of the snowy slopes of Verbier will have to purchase a separate ski pass-Verbier Grand Ski that is already running.
The owners of the Verbier Grand Ski will be able to ride in areas Bryuzon (Bruson), Chevillar - Medier (Medran - Savole, Médran - Savoleyres) and Mont Fort (Mont-Fort). Buy Verbier Grand Ski for a day for 58 euros (71 franc).
But with that, a ski pass resort is selling, and its price is much more expensive than the passes for the Four valleys, it gives its owner the right to only skiing on the ski slopes of Verbier – other resorts “Valley” it does not apply.
The reason for the exit of the Verbier Four valleys trivial – financial disagreements in matters of income distribution at the associated resorts. At the moment negotiations between the ski resorts of Verbier, Masonna, Nendaz and Thyon will continue, but on the reunification of speech does not go.
Important: 8 September 2014 Verbier returned to the Four valleys.
