Ski weekend in Poland: where to go?

Going to Poland for winter holidays and your tour program foresees some free time?

So why not spend it to good use on the ski slopes?

When you have a small amount of free time, and there is no way to go on a long winter journey, the best solution would be compensation small duration of rest it's quality that is as rich and varied program.

What can be done in a few days? To visit some interesting excursions, stroll through the festively decorated snowy streets, drink delicious coffee in a cozy local  coffee shops, have a nice shopping, visit the theatre or concert program, enjoy a delicious festive dinner… And, of course, go to the Polish ski resorts!

So you've decided to celebrate New year 2015 in Poland. We have selected the top 5 ski resorts in the southern part of Poland, which enjoy high popularity among poles.

Bukowina tatrzańska (Bukowina Tatrzańska)

The slopes of the ski resort Bukowina tatrzańska evenly flat and wide, tracks — green and blue. The maximum length of — up to 700 meters. A large part of the illuminated ski slopes, snow cannons work, there are 24 lifts.

Here there are trails for cross-country skiing, ski school and snowboarding school. Also on the territory of Bukowina tatrzańska is the thermal Park Bukovina Terma with a large number of swimming pools, saunas and children's rides.

The maximum elevation in Bukowina tatrzańska — 78 meters.

Szczyrk (Szczyrk)

Ski resort in Polish Szczyrk includes 3 major ski resorts: biały krzyż, Czyrna-Solisko and Duzhe Skrzyczne. In the upper part of the Silesian Beskids (1257м) tourist shelter, climbing wall, polygon for archery, and, of course, many slopes with ski slopes of different difficulty levels — red, black, blue and green.

Jaworzyna Krynicka (Jaworzyna Krynicka)

Ski resort Jaworzyna Krynicka is one of the largest in the country, is very popular among Polish skiers. Fans of winter sports are here waiting for blue, red and black runs, the biggest length-2,600 meters. The total number of tracks — 9, lifts — 7.

On site from Jaworzyna Krynickii are ski schools, a large hotel complex, ski-kindergarten Herkulesik and shopping centre, which houses two ski store and one specialty store for snowboarders.

Kasprowy Wierch (Kasprowy Wierch)

Kasprowy Wierch  — this is the longest ski slope in Zakopane. The difficulty level of the trails high — red and black. In Kasprowy Wierch you can ride as skiing and snowboarding. Funkcioniruet convenient cable car. Elevation: 1030m-1960m.

The resort is located the hotel complex Hotel Crocus Zakopane 4*.

Białka tatrzańska (Białka Tatrzańska)

Białka tatrzańska is today one of the most popular ski centres in Poland. Excellent infrastructure, a wide variety of accommodation options, a large selection of winter activities and excellent conditions for practicing winter sports both for beginners and for very experienced skiers. Slopes are illuminated, artificially osnezhitsy and processed snowcat.

Tourists in Bialka Tatrzanska can enjoy Alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing. There are ski instructors, skate rental. Within the resort there are restaurants, medical facilities, hotels, Parking, entertainment venues and shops.
