According to information provided by the research centre CrescentRating, Kazakhstan is ranked 16th in the ranking of most comfortable to rest of the Muslims countries in 2016. The Republic of Kazakhstan has shown this year, the best results among the CIS countries — the closest neighbor in the list, Azerbaijan, took only 23rd place in the ranking.

As reported in the company that conducted the study, rating the best for Halal tourism countries based on the requirements for a good family holiday of Muslims.

This included the quality and variety of services provided, the conditions of the tourist accommodation offered to the guests of the program, safety of travel, the availability of Halal food, presence of special conditions for Muslims in airports and places for prayer, as well as the convenience of air travel and visa conditions.
