The exterior of the hotel illustrates the style characteristic for the creative decisions of Kengo Kuma — a monolithic building of gray concrete decorated with an art-installation of chaotically scattered wooden slats. In addition to the facade design, Kengo Kuma & Associates also took part in interior design, guest rooms, furniture and even personnel uniforms, so the ONE@Tokyo hotel turned out to be really interesting and conceptual.

All interior interiors are designed in an accentuated minimalist style with traditional Japanese laconism. High ceilings with exposed beams, matte steel, light wooden panels with natural texture and functional built-in furniture — the design is really interesting and stylish. Guest rooms have a different layout and size, the area of the largest suite is about 56 square meters.

The most interesting suites are decorated in original styles, for example, in Atelier Suite the atmosphere of the creative workshop is reproduced, and in the Library Suite design the atmosphere of the cabinet with the library is played out.

Each room has a guest smartphone, which guests can use at their discretion and even take a walk during their stay at the hotel.
