The snow festival in Sapporo 2017

In the period from 1 to 12 February 2017 in Japan, travelers will be able to see a real winter miracle — a famous snow festival in Sapporo, capital of Hokkaido and one of the most famous resorts in Japan.

Tourists enjoy the amazing snow sculptures, a small copy of the world-famous landmarks and huge buildings from snow and ice blocks, created by several dozens of commands.

Participate in them will be professional architects, sculptors and designers. To see all the icy works of art, visitors need not even watch — days, therefore, installations will be equipped with special illumination, which will work in the dark, multi-colored lights filling the Snow festival exhibits.

Ice sculptures in 2017, will be located in three groups — as exhibition venues for works of snow art will speak to Odori Park, the stadium Tsutomu and the Susukino district.
