Swedish еxtreme: ice hotel all year round

In Sweden, tourists can stay at the ice hotel: hotel complex Icehotel  365, located on the shores of the Torne river, offers its guests to relax in the ice — in every sense of the word.

Hotel Icehotel 365 will work regardless of the time of year and weather conditions. Ice interiors will support 365 days a year with a special HVAC equipment, powered by solar panels, while originally a hotel made of ice was created in 1989, but he received visitors only in the cold season and rebuilt each time before the beginning of the winter season.

Guests an unusual hotel the hotel offers 21 comfortable rooms, each of which includes a stylish ice decoration, furniture and spectacularly lit ice sculptures.

There is also a nice bar (ice too) and the art gallery with the paintings. Ice sculptures and paintings were created by contemporary artists and sculptors, specially invited to decorate a new ice hotel.  Total area is about 195 square meters.

The air temperature in the ice hotel is about -5°C all year round, so the ice and snow covering all surfaces in the hotel, do not melt, while maintaining the texture. For guests the rooms have blankets and skins, and to sleep are given special sleeping bags that allow you spend your nights in warmth and comfort.
