Borispol will get buses and taxis

Borispol

Kiev airport Borispol in the near future plans drastic changes in the system of passenger transportation, because the current airport taxi service does not meet the requirements of the ratio of quality and price.

Until the spring of this year at the airport Borispol operated a single taxi service SkyTaxi created by the Euro 2012 championship.

In April 2014 SkyTaxi was disbanded due to losses, then passenger urban and suburban services began to implement “owners” establishing unreasonably high tariffs for transportation.

As explained Yevhen Dykhne, the new CEO Borispol it is unacceptable what is now airport passengers “pull by the sleeve, offering dubious and expensive services delivery in the city”, because the main terminal building of Ukraine should be comfortable for the passenger and taxi drivers offer the conditions of carriage as such is very difficult to call.

According to Eugene Dykhne, in Kiev  will not be in effect a private taxi service at the airport – to provide for the transportation of passengers around the city and suburbs there are several contractors working on a single rigid requirements and will be developed in the routes of city and suburban buses.

In addition to the transport issues also in the near future will be solved the existing problems of passenger food Borispol and problems with baggage handling.
