Australia will build the largest hotel in the world

Australia announced the start of construction of the largest hotels in the world — Aquis Great Barrier Reef Resort.

Reportedly, a huge hotel in Australia will have the highest rating, 6 stars, and can simultaneously accept up to 12000 guests.

Only Aquis Great Barrier Reef Resort planned to accommodate 7500 rooms and apartments of various classes and categories. On site will be reportedly provided excellent infrastructure with a very large number of entertainment centers, parks and clubs, dozens of restaurants, bars, cafes, Spa salons, shops and variety of options for active rest of tourists of different interests and ages.

The hotel will be located in the North-Eastern part of Australia near the Great Barrier reef. The entire hotel complex will occupy about 138 hectares of fields and hills, which previously was home to large sugar cane plantations.

According to the organizers, the construction of the Aquis Great Barrier Reef Resort 6* is about ten years. All work will take place in two stages, and fully complete the plan until 2024. The declared cost of the project is the largest hotel in the world is €5.6 billion.
