To the airport Minsk will go train

Already on 7 November 2014 at the main airport of Belarus will go a special train – it will become more convenient for passengers an alternative to the current bus routes and taxis.

The structure will connect key stations of the capital – air national airport "Minsk", and Minsk train station.

A separate railway line will lead almost to the airport terminal: the last 550 meters from the landing of the train passengers will ride the low-floor Shuttle buses and large moving walkways.

As reported by the city authorities of Minsk, after the launch of the new railway line to the airport, passengers will spend less time on the road to the terminal, in addition, a new urban route will be spacious and safe.

Reportedly, this short rail route to the airport will be served by modern diesel trains. Approximate travel time given transfer to the airport bus is only about 50-60 minutes.

The cost of tickets for this train and additional bus has not yet been clarified – it is expected that these figures will be announced closer to the end of October.
