Railways allow trains to Crimea
Ukrzaliznytsia announces that Prydniprovska Railways was prescribed 4 daily commuter trains in the Crimean direction.
The daily commuter train Zaporizhia-2-siwash-Zaporozhye-2 (No. 6915/6916) and novooleksiivka-Sivash Novoalekseevka (No. 6913/6914) will have to provide a commuter on the rail road Novooleksiyivka-Sivash reported in the Department of commuter traffic Railways. In connection with the adoption of such solutions commuter rail connections between Crimea and mainland Ukraine was limited in Armyansk city and the Salt Lake towards the mainland of Ukraine, and Vadim stations Novoalekseevka and in the direction of the Crimean Peninsula. This does not allow transfer of passengers from mainland Ukraine to the Crimean area and back.
It is reported that the leadership of the Dnieper railroad appealed to the Crimean Directorate with a proposal for the appointment of a commuter train Zaporizhia motor-wagon depot on plots Melitopol-Dzhankoy and Simferopol trains, motor-wagon depot on the direction Dzhankoy-Novooleksiyivka preserving all the stops.
But, as informs the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia, the proposal of the Crimean side is not supported, explaining its refusal by the fact that they will not make such decisions until organized customs and border protection inspection at the station Novooleksiyivka-Dzhankoy.
