50% discount on train tickets in Hungary and Slovakia
Ukrzaliznytsia reported that in March 2015 reduced fare-drawn carriages from Ukraine to Hungary and Slovakia.
Discount on train tickets in the amount of 50% from the previously set value of the tickets was introduced in connection with the rapid growth of the Euro against the hryvnia.
Between Ukraine and Hungary on a regular basis runs two trailer: Kiev — Budapest in the composition of a daily train № 49 Kyiv-Truskavets (departure from Kyiv at 20:45, arrival in Budapest — 18:37), and the lions — Budapest in the composition of a daily train № 13 Kyiv-Uzhgorod (departure from Lviv at 5:32, arrival in Budapest — 18:37).
From Ukraine to Slovakia runs a car Kiev-Bratislava (composition of a daily train № 99 Kyiv-Uzhgorod). Departure from Kiev at 15:22, arrival to Bratislava — 18:05.
The fare in trains of the international message for citizens of Ukraine is calculated in euros. Passengers pay for are train tickets in local currency at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine on the day of registration.
