Retro steam train in Spain went back on the route
In 2016 tourists in Spain will be able to go in an unusual mini-trip to Spain — April 2, for a route in the Basque Country goes back a vintage steam locomotive. This train, with the support of the Basque railway Museum runs the first year, a landmark popular with tourists from Spain and from other countries.
Retro train runs between the towns of Azpeitia and Lasao in the picturesque valley of Urol three times a week. The new schedule provides train departure on Saturdays at 12:30 and 18:00 and on Sundays — at 12:30. Public holidays the trains movement is also provided on the Sunday schedule.
The train route runs on the historical railway passing by the famous sights of the Basque Country — caves Again, the sanctuary of St. Ignatius Loyola, Park La Costa peplum.
In fact, serving traditional Basque railway Museum of Azpeitia tourists will see unique samples of the uniforms of railway workers of the past century, vintage watch, lots of interesting photos, documents, special equipment and devices previously used on the railway, and, of course, a superb collection of rare instances of rail transport.
