Olympics 2014: free travel in Sochi

In the period of the Olympic games 2014 in Sochi, from 6 to 23 February 2014, in trains, the journey will be free, the press service of Russian Railways.

Throughout the Olympics, the turnstiles will be installed in the open position, and the sale of tickets for trains will be temporarily suspended.

Passengers in these 18 days will provide 46 trains, in total the day will run 413 flights on the routes Sochi-Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi-Olympic Park, Olympic Park-Krasnaya Polyana, Adler-Airport Sochi, Adler – Krasnaya Polyana.

Railways will ensure that during the entire period of the Games 2014 Sochi electric trains will be able to provide transport for about 7 thousand passengers per hour in this mode.
