Finnair announces that in the near future free meals for passengers in economy class during flights on most European routes will not be provided.

As an alternative to the standard special meal the airline offers passengers to pre-order the desired dishes on the web or buy them already on Board at Sky Bistro.

For passengers of business class food on Board is free, as before.

Prior to this innovation, the carrier has offered passengers, the duration of the flight which was more than two hours, free cold snacks and drinks to choose from now without changes will remain only drinks during the flight. Passengers of all flights of this airline will be free to get on Board signature refreshment, blueberry juice, tea and coffee to choose from.

In addition to Finnair now offer free meals on Board such a major European airline as airBaltic, UIA, LOT, and SAS. Other airlines offer to their passengers during the flight free only a snack and one drink, and more dense food must be ordered separately.
