Double-Decker train in Kislovodsk
From the beginning of 2017 between Moscow and Kislovodsk will run double-Decker train — this information was reported by Vladimir Pyastolov, head of North-Caucasian railway.
Double-Decker cars on the route Moscow-Kislovodsk-Moscow will appear under the program to modernize the infrastructure of the North Caucasus railway. As the Ministry informs, the infrastructure of the Kislovodsk direction is given in accordance with the conditions required for the passage of such trains.
The total investment in 2016 on the development and improvement of the North Caucasus railway will be about 30,5 billion rubles. The investment program will significantly upgrade the rail infrastructure of the Azov-black sea basin, including upgrading rolling stock and to implement a project for the construction of additional tracks at the site of the railway between Kotelnikovo, Sal and Coach.
