Donetsk: without air until the end of June

The decision about the cancellation of all civilian flights from Donetsk to 30 June was made by State aviation service of Ukraine. Also earlier it was reported that airlines cancel flights from Donetsk.

The reason for the ban of flights was an armed conflict in the region, in which the safety was impossible. Earlier it was announced that the Donetsk airport will not take flight until June 6, but, given the worsening situation in the region, the ban was extended until the end of the month.

It is reported that flights to Donetsk to be renewed only after the settlement of the conflict, stabilizing the situation in Eastern Ukraine and carry out all necessary actions for monitoring compliance with all international standards and requirements in the field of safety, therefore, the extension of the ban to flights from Donetsk airport perhaps indefinitely.
