Dniproavia closes Kharkiv flights

Dniproavia

Dniproavia Airways announces the closure of its flight program from the Kharkiv airport.

In particular, will cease flights from Kharkov to Kiev, Batumi, Tbilisi, Baku and Yerevan.

Flights from Kharkov to Ivano-Frankivsk will be operated until March 20, 2015.

As reasons for this decision are representatives of the airline called the reduced purchasing power of passengers, a significant rise in the cost of flights and an unstable dollar.

Also this decision could contribute to Russia's ban on transit flights over the territory of the Russian Federation, after which the airline was forced to change its routes from Ukraine to Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. Flights in these areas since the beginning of Aug 2014 extended, because Dniproavia performs them now through the Northern part of Turkey and Odessa, which increases the duration of flights and the volume of fuel consumed.

Information about when will the restored flights Dniproavia Kharkov, are not yet available. On the issues of the return and exchange of tickets, passengers should contact the hotline of the airline Dnepravia: 0 800 509 800.
