Wizz Air Ukraine introduces paid check-in

Since the end of February 2014 check-in for flights Wizz air Ukraine at the airports will be paid.

In this way, the airline plans to cut spending on staff working at airports – the registration procedure takes too much time, according to the company.

Registration fee for the flights of Wizz air Ukraine will amount to UAH and 115 will apply only in cases of registration directly at the airports. Passengers who will prepare all the documents via the Internet, no additional costs will not have to bear.

The exception would be is that those airports in which Internet registration is not available yet – until the introduction of Internet service physical registration will still remain free of charge.

As the press service of the airline, the new rules check-in Wizz Air will come into force for all flights from 26 February 2014.

According to the representatives of the company, such measures will allow the airline to offer their passengers affordable prices due to a significant reduction of the costs of land maintenance. After the introduction of the surcharge passengers will actively check in for flights via the Internet that will allow Wizz Air Ukraine to optimize associated with the registration of passengers at the airport costs.

In addition, the press service of the airline reported that since 23.01.14 for flights departing 26.02.14 or later, available online the new rules of registration of the aircraft.

We will remind, now the free online check-in for Wizz Air flights are possible 30 days before date of departure. Through the Internet, passengers must check in no later than 3 hours prior to departure. For those who check-in via the Internet services, you need to print your boarding pass with arrival at the airport.
