Wizz Air has changed the rules of the ticket exchange

Wizz

Low-cost airline Wizz Air Hungary reports a change in the terms of exchange of purchased tickets for their passengers. Now to change the tickets to another date, passengers will pay a fee, whose amount will be 50% of the already paid fare.

Also, the airline Wizz Air Hungary has established a minimum and maximum fee that will be charged for change — at least €10, but not more than €60.

In addition, if the cost of a ticket to the new date above the originally paid fare, the passenger will need to compensate for this difference.

The new rules will not apply to the procedure of rebooking for passengers who purchase tickets on the tariff package “Plus”. Also, the innovation will not affect those who use the service WIZZ Flex, which costs €10 — such tickets can be adjusted an unlimited number of times as the date of departure and route. The fee for such changes will be charged.

The earlier procedure of rebooking of tickets provided for a penalty of €20 when you change itinerary or date of departure 30 days before departure date, €29 — in the period from 7 to 30 days and €40, provided that before departure remains less than a week.
