Wi-Fi at the airport — where is it better?
The British company Rotten WiFi has ranked the airports according to availability Wi-Fi. The main criteria used to assess the quality of wireless Internet — speed and connection stability. In total, the research involved 226 airports in the world.
According to the research, most of the airports where wireless Internet is really fast and high quality, located in two countries — USA and Thailand.
In the first place in the ranking was the national airport named after bill and Hillary Clinton (little Rock, Arkansas) in which the average speed of the Wi-Fi is available for passengers, was about 42 MB/s.
Second place went to the international airport Lennart Meri (Estonia, Tallinn), where the download speed of files — 38 MB/s.
Third place went to the air port of Thailand — the international airport of don Muang (Bangkok) — 37 MB/s.
Among Asian airports are also a good Internet connection noted at the airport terminal in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) — 34 MB/s, and Chiang Mai (Thailand) — of 32.8 MB/s. Among European — Vilnius (24 Mbps) and Berlin (14,6 MB/s).
