Vueling will resume flights to Ukraine

Spanish low-cost carrier Vueling Airlines plans the resumption of flights Kiev-Barcelona, which was suspended in September, and the increase in flight frequency in two times.

In December-January, the carrier will perform several flights during the peak Christmas season, and from 2 APR 2014, will resume regular flights. As during the summer schedule 2013, the airline Vueling Airlines plans to use Zhulyany airport in Kiev and the main airport El Prat in Barcelona.

The flights will be operated from Kiev at 08:30 on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from Barcelona –  at 23:55 on Tuesdays and Fridays. In June, will add an additional flight from Barcelona on Saturday and from Kiev on Sunday, and in July the number of flights will increase to four per week with additional flight on Sunday/Monday. The rest of the schedule will remain the same.

In September 2014, the company Vueling again reduce the frequency of flights on the Kiev-Barcelona to three flights per week, and in October will two flights per week.

The cost of the ticket in both parties will be quite high — from 250 to 400 euros, while passengers will have to pay extra for baggage and seat selection, if transportation is not sold through agents.
