Flight Kharkiv-Istanbul resumes

Turkish low-cost Pegasus Airlines is resuming flights from Istanbul to Kharkov on August 22, 2014.

First after a long break flight on this route will be performed tonight.

This flight from Ukraine to Turkey was canceled at the initiative of the airline on 18 July 2014, after the disaster with Malaysian «Boeing» was shot down over the territory of Donetsk region. As commented on his decision to cancel flights to Kharkiv representatives of Pegasus Airlines, the airline was forced to take such measures because of security reasons.

The majority of both Ukrainian and foreign airlines continued flight operations in the Kharkov area, and the air space over Kharkov during all this time remained open.
