Ramenskoe — new Moscow airport

In the first quarter of 2016 will start to work the new Moscow airport-Ramenskoye international airport.

Located in the suburbs in the city of Zhukovsky, the airport has already started work in test mode, and manual air Harbor anticipates that in the near future the terminal will be fully operational.

It is reported that the new airport Ramenskoye has the status of extra-curricular and can take all types of aircraft thanks to the longest in Europe the runway — its length will be 5,5 kilometers.

Work on the development and modernization of the airport continued, it is expected that during the next stages of the reconstruction of a new terminal and already existing will be enhanced. In the end, the total area of terminals will be about 60,000 square kilometres which will increase throughput to 12 million passengers per year.

Also will be built a business terminal, office buildings, large car Park, hotel complex and shopping center.

It is expected that in 2016 a new Moscow airport will take about four million passengers.
