Direct flights with Uzbekistan will resume

Ukraine and Uzbekistan reached an agreement on the resumption of direct air communication between the countries. It is expected that flights between the countries will be carried out twice a week in both directions.

In an agreement signed by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine and the State Aviation Administration of Uzbekistan on December 12, 2017, the route Kiev-Tashkent has already been declared, and in the future it will be possible to open flights to the airports of other Ukrainian cities. Information on the renewal of the flight program between the capitals was confirmed at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, also informing about the concluded code-sharing agreement.

Recall, direct flights from Ukraine to Uzbekistan were completely stopped in the spring of 2015, when Uzbekistan Airways stopped flights on the route Tashkent — Kiev — Tashkent due to the lack of agreements between the aviation authorities.
