The first regular flight to Chernivtsi airport

From 12 July 2016 UIA will start to perform its first regular flight from the airport of Chernivtsi — for the first time in two years.

The flights will be operated on the route Chernivtsi — Kyiv — Chernivtsi aircraft Embraer 145 belonging to the airline “members”, as the aircraft for its own fleet UIA is not adapted to the conditions of regional airports with the old runways.

According to the preliminary information stated UIA flights will be operated on a daily basis, a departure time from Kiev — 20:00, from Chernivtsi — 07:00. New flights will be a convenient alternative to rail passenger traffic between these cities, as the flight duration will be almost six times less than traveling by train (now to get from the capital to Chernivtsi for 12 hours).

The cost of airline tickets Chernivtsi — Kyiv has not yet been announced, the sale of the same is not already open.
