The airline in response to the sanctions imposed by the Russian government against Western countries that supported Apple's trend that began in Poland with an online flashmob #jedzjablka.

As representatives of the air carrier, monthly aircraft carrying about 60,000 people, so it is the number of apples the company will purchase from the Moldovan growers.

With this campaign, Air Moldova provides support to the segment of the domestic agriculture, which was in a difficult position because of the ban on the import of vegetables and fruits from Moldova to Russia.

The government of the Republic of Moldova has already expressed support for this initiative of the carrier and representatives of the airlines are encouraging other airlines to follow their example, and show national solidarity.
