The cancellation of flights to Ukraine (updated)

In connection with the temporary restriction of flights over the Eastern regions of Ukraine, which carried out anti-terrorist operation, some airlines have reported a temporary suspension of the execution of part of flights to Ukraine.

Aeroflot cancels the flight Dnepropetrovsk-Moscow-Dnepropetrovsk until August 18, 2014. Flight Odessa-Moscow-Odessa cancelled before July 25.

Austrian airlines cancels flights Kharkov — Vienna — Kharkov until August 6, 2014 and Dnepropetrovsk — Vienna — Dnepropetrovsk — to 14 August inclusive (previously, it was announced the termination of flights on this route first until 28 July, then to August 6).

Turkish airlines cancels the flight Dnepropetrovsk-Istanbul — Dnepropetrovsk until August 14, 2014.

Pegasus Airlines cancels the flight Kharkiv-Istanbul-Kharkiv cancelled prior to 2 August 2014.

Transaero cancels the flight Dnepropetrovsk-Moscow-Dnepropetrovsk until 30 October 2014.

Also received information that the airline Turkmenistan Airlines temporarily cancels flights Lviv — Ashgabat — the lions, and Emirates stopped the flight to Kiev — Dubai — Kiev July 15, 2014.

The members cancels the flight Kharkiv-Moscow-Kharkiv from 28 July 2014 in connection with the prohibition of execution of this route by Federal air transport Agency of the Russian Federation.

As new information becomes available information about the cancellation of flights to Ukraine will be updated.

Up to date information as of August 25, 2014:

The company Austrian Airlines resumed flights to Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov from Vienna from 22 August 2014.

Turkish Pegasus Airlines resume flights to Kharkov from Istanbul from 22 August.

Airline Finnair will once again perform transit flights over the territory of Ukraine from August 27.

The cancellation of flights to Dnepropetrovsk renewed Russian airline Aeroflot (30 September 2014) and Turkish Turkish Airlines (27 Aug 2014). Until September 30, also canceled flights to Odessa.

Turkish airlines report on the restoration of the flights from Dnepropetrovsk from 18 September 2014.

Up to date information as of October 08, 2014:

Aeroflot Russian reports the resumption of flights to Odessa on October 11, 2014.

Ministry of transport banned Aeroflot resume flights in Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv, scheduled for 1 December 2014.

At the request of the Ministry of defence, the state aviation service of Ukraine has banned passenger flights over Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kharkiv regions, as well as the departure and the receiving aircraft airports of these cities. More details can be found here.
