New Terminal at Tbilisi Airport

A new terminal for arrival has opened at Tbilisi International Airport — since September 27, 2017 all incoming passengers are serviced exclusively in it.

The building of the new terminal of the Tbilisi airport is connected to the right wing of the main building, which serves the departing passengers. In the new building, the area of which is about 5 120 thousand square meters, there are four bus stops, a gallery for two telescopic gangways, five parking lots and luggage carousels. Also, the new terminal received a private parking for 250 cars.

According to the management of the airport, the opening of the new terminal building will allow servicing almost twice as many passengers per year, thus, the passenger traffic will increase from 2.3 to 4 million people per year.

The Tbilisi airport infrastructure development project took a little more than a year, the cost of building a new terminal for incoming passengers was $ 33 million.
