Lufthansa: new fares without Luggage

Lufthansa has introduced new fares for tickets economy class: Light, Classic and Flex, the cheapest of which, Light will not assume the transportation of Luggage. New tariff plans will be valid from 28 July to 1 October 2015 on flights from Europe to Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus and the Russian Federation.

To buy tickets for the Lufthansa planes in both directions including all taxes at the cheapest rate from €89. This price will include only the hand baggage, and the adjustment and cancellation of such tickets will be denied. The cost of baggage for passengers of Lufthansa Light fare will amount to €15 in one direction.

Rate Classic Lufthansa (from €129 for a round-trip flight) will provide a pre-selection of seats in the cabin aircraft passenger and baggage (free of charge). Cancellation of a ticket purchased at the rate of classic, impossible, and the date of departure can be changed, by paying a fine of €65.

For passengers flying on Economy tickets Lufthansa Flex, will be available to change your departure date without penalty and the cancellation of a ticket with a fine of €120. The cost of tickets, the most expensive of tariff packages Ekonom-a class above the Classic tickets for €60 - €160 depending on the itinerary.

As explained in the management of the airline, this separation of rates for tickets due to the fact that the majority of passengers travel light, with only hand baggage, and the standard tickets involve payment for the baggage by default. But the new tariff policy of the company allows passengers to only pay for the actually acquired services.
