EasyJet: change in baggage policy
European low-cost airline easyJet has announced some changes to the rules of carry-on baggage for its passengers, which will enter into force on 19 March 2015.
The first piece of hand Luggage will continue to be provided free of charge for all passengers provided that its dimensions do not exceed 56х45х25см.
All easyJet passengers free of charge transportation on Board the aircraft purchases from airport shops.
From this date holders of tickets purchased at more expensive rates, as well as passengers who paid for preferred seats in the cabin, can carry on Board the aircraft the second bag with hand Luggage. The only restriction that what is carried as a second piece of hand baggage must fit under the passenger seat.
This special offer for loyal to the airline passengers, which provides an allowance of a second piece of hand baggage will be able to use passengers that:
- took seats near the emergency exit
- take place in the first six rows
- bought a ticket in the Flexi tariff package
- have a permanent easyJet plus card
