Boryspil will monitor punctuality

Kiev Borispol airport will regularly monitor the time of departure and arrival of aircraft to determine the most punctual airlines.

Statistics of flights and the names of the most punctual companies will be published on the website of the airport twice a year – at the end of March and end of October.

For the evaluation will take into account the number of flights of each carrier, made through the airport with a maximum loss of graphics in 15 minutes.

The winners of the most punctual airlines will determine in two categories: those carriers that commit per week over 7 flights and those aircraft which perform from 2 to 6 regular or Charter flights.

As reported in the press service of Boryspil, the initiative will have a positive impact on compliance by airlines flight schedule, but the modalities of this monitoring provides for the right of the feed carrier of an application for exception with their airlines from these data. Thus, there is a possibility that the company, the aircraft are regularly deviating from the schedule will not figure in the monitoring.
