Free hotels for passengers of Turkish Airlines

Turkish Airlines has been providing a new service to its passengers since July 1, 2017 — now, with long docking (stopovers) in Istanbul, every passenger will be accommodated free of charge in the hotel.

A free hotel at the stop is given to passengers who bought tickets for airline flights in both directions, provided that the docking time exceeds 20 hours. Tickets of different classes are provided with different categories of hotels and differing living conditions — a day in a 4 * hotel for passengers of economy class and two days in a 5 * hotel for business class. Also the accommodation provides free breakfast.

According to the rules of the airline, passengers with tickets for which all segments are operated by Turkish Airlines can use tickets for free at the stopover, in addition, these tickets must be issued after 1.07.17. The voucher must be received from the hotel before the flight, it is provided by the Kiev office of the airline upon request. Each passenger can use this service only once on the route (or when flying there, or when flying back).

Important! Transfer from the airport to the hotel and back passengers pay on their own.

Also, Turkish Airlines informs passengers that the service of free accommodation in Istanbul hotels with forced connections, which last 10 hours or more, will be provided to economy class passengers and business class passengers from 7 or more hours. In such cases, the transfer to the hotel and back to the airport is also paid by the airline.
