Europe: the most popular children's parks

Kids just love entertainment and attractions, and other things. That's right, in large amusement parks!

That's why, when approaching the winter holidays and vacations, amusement parks have become especially popular among those who come to vacation with children.

Many of the parks are open around the clock and offer different types of leisure activities for both children and adults, so it's good to relax here not only the younger generation but also older tourists.

Disneyland Park, France

In the town of Marne-La-vallée, 32 km East of Paris, is one of the world's most famous and most visited in Europe a complex of amusement parks – Disneyland. In addition to the amusement Park and attractions Disneyland Park there are also amusement Park Disney Village,  Studio Walt Disney Studios Park, residential and business districts, a complex of hotels and Golf Disneyland.

For school-age children at Disneyland, outings to the set (Production Courtyard), where they will be able to look behind the scenes of this magical “dream factory”.

Working Time: Disneyland Park is open in summer daily from 10:00 to 23:00. From September to may while working Disneyland – to 8:30 PM. Studio Walt Disney Studios Park in summer open daily from 10:00 to 19:00 from September to may – to 18:00, but watch the closing of this entertainment complex is better to check in the day of visitation.

Directions: To Disneyland from Paris you can drive to the station Marne-La-Vallee/Chessy on the RER suburban trains (line A). The road to the Park is 35 minutes ' drive. Between the RER station, hotels of the Disneyland resort and provides bus service. If you decide to get to the Park by car to get to Disneyland, you can also on the A4 motorway.

Europa-Park, Germany

The amusement Park Europa-Park, which is located in the South-West of Germany in Baden-württemberg ranks second in the ranking of the European theme parks after Disneyland Paris. In 11 thematic parts of the Park on the area of 65 hectares are various amusements, in the form of miniature copies of European States: France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, UK, Spain, Greece, and the Scandinavian countries.

Working Time: Europa-Park in Germany is open daily from 23 March to 3 November from 9:00 to 18:00. In high season (from 25 July to 7 September) until 19:30. From 23 November to 6 January, the complex is open every day from 11:00 to 19:00.

Directions: Europa-Park you can get on the company bus to and from airport Baden-Baden/Baden Karlsruhe (should take about 45 minutes). Can also be reached from the airport in Basel (about 60 minutes). Booking must be made 72 hours in advance.

Ticket: the Entrance to the Park is free for children under 4 years for free up to 12 years. For children from 4 to 11 years, the ticket to Europa-Park in winter, worth around EUR 28.50 summer – 34 euros. Adult – 33 and 39 Euro, respectively.

Legoland Denmark

In Denmark, home of LEGO, is the first and largest Legoland in the world. This Park has been operating since 1968. All the rides-water Park, roller coasters and even a cableway almost entirely collected from children's designer Lego. All “built” the creators have spent more than 46 million LEGO pieces of different sizes. The Park area is about 100 thousand square meters. The whole Park area of the famous Danish Legoland is divided into 8 thematic sections, each of which is for children of a certain age.

Working Time: Legoland is open daily from 23 March to 27 Oct. Visiting the Park is available from 10:00 to 21:00 during summer and until 18:00 in spring and autumn. 2-3 hours before closing the main gate of the Park operation amusement terminated.

Directions: the Park is located in Denmark, in a small town called Billund, which is located in the heart of Jutland. To get to the bus stop in front of the hotel Legoland by bus from Copenhagen (3.4 hours) and Billund (15 minutes).

Ticket: the cost of the ticket to Legoland for children aged 3 to 12 years – 279 Danish kroner (approximately 37 Euro). Full ticket price for adults (13 to 64 years old) – 299 DKK (40 euros). If you book tickets online in advance, you will receive a 25% discount.

Gardaland, Italy

Gardaland-this is the most popular amusement Park in Italy. Your visitors then can offer seven different rides. Near the Park is also home to the aquarium Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, where visitors can see about 100 species of marine life, placed in 40 thematic aquariums. The amusement Park Gardaland is located in Castelnuovo del Garda on the Eastern shore of lake Garda in Italy.

Working Time: Gardaland is open from 28 March to 29 September, from 10:00 to 18:00, in the period from 28 June to 10 September – until 23:00. In winter (October-March) the Park is open only on holidays and some weekends.

Directions: Gardaland is located a few kilometers from the Congress Sommacampagna and Peschiera del Garda. To get to the amusement Park, you can train (line Milano-Venezia, to the station of Peschiera del Garda), the driven Gardaland 2 km away free branded bus to the Park. The Park can also be reached by highway A4 Milan-Venice by car.

Ticket: tickets for visits to Gardaland for families (three people: 1 adult and two children up to 10 years or 2 adults and 1 child up to 10 years) will be a 88.50 Euro, a visit to the aquarium – 35 Euro.

Linnanmäki, Finland

The linnanmäki amusement Park in Helsinki, Finland, which belongs to the Foundation of Children's Day, was opened in 1950. On site are 43 different rides, designed for children of different age and growth. Including visitors to the Park can visit the ancient attraction «Carousel», built in 1896. Also on site Linnanmäki is the Sea life aquarium where you can see a rich collection of inhabitants of the tropical oceans and seas.

Working Time: Linnanmaki Park is open for visits from may to October. Working time from 11:00 until 20:00-21:00.

Directions: to get to the amusement Park Linnanmäki on foot (1.4 km) or bus number 23 from the railway station of Pasila, which stopped all long distance and commuter trains.

Ticket: the Entrance to the amusement Park  free. For free you can also climb to the observation tower Panoraama. To purchase a single ticket is needed to ride the rides. You can also purchase a special tracking bracelet. Many rides in Linnanmaki have a limit to growth, the cost of the bracelet depends also on the growth of the visitor.
